VOLUNTEERING IN GHANA

INTRODUCTION

To volunteer with Pure Passion Foundation in Ghana, you have the opportunity to work on several development and carefully designed live changing projects. Our projects offer volunteers the opportunity to add professional touch to themselves by making huge societal impact in the lives of Ghanaian people. The program offers you the opportunity to see any tourist site in Ghana you wish to see.

Volunteers work five days a week, whereby the weekends are allocated for excursions. Transportation and accommodation are always well organized by Pure Passion Foundation for the convenience of our visitors. Staff of the organization follow you and your group to all the tourist sites, pick you up at the airport and drop you off at the airport on your day of departure just to ensure that you have the best possible experience.

ON FARM ENGAGEMENT

INITIATIVE

SMART GROWTH

ENTREPRENEURIAL GHANA

AFRICA IS AGRICULTURE

ENTREPRENEURIAL GHANA

It is an undeniable fact that the future of Africa is Agriculture. We seek to educate farmers on the use of simple farm techniques to increase production and also devise means to avoid post-harvest loses which is a major problem of agriculture in Ghana and Africa in general. This project focuses on both food and animal productions ranging from small scale to large scale production. E.g. Vegetables, fruits, cereal, tubers, poultry, pigs, fish etc.

Empowering Ghanaian youth to take bold steps to become successful entrepreneurs is a major concern of Pure Passion Foundation. We believe this step is key to economic growth. The youth have potentials but a little push to stand up to the task is all what is lacking. This project provides the avenue for participants to reach out to these ones and then inspire them and make provisions available to stand up and accept the challenge to make changes in their lives and that of the Ghanaian people. The project targets high school students, tertiary students and idle community youth.

ORPHAN CARE SECTION

GREENING GHANA

IMPROVING THE ENVIRONMENT

ASSISTING ORPHANS

This is environmental protection program designed to protect; rivers and water bodies, forest, nature reserves, gardens, climate, etc. and also to broadcast on the need to recycle. The project works through government institutions, non-governmental organizations, activist groups, clubs, societies, schools, private institutions, and communities etc. to reach out to the Ghanaian community to implement environmental protection strategies. Critical issues such as deforestation, ‘galamsey’ (illegal mining operation in the forest, rivers and water bodies), littering, water pollution, carbon emission, etc. are those areas ‘Greening Ghana’ focuses on

Orphan Care Section caters for the needs of orphans. We provide volunteers to assist in numerous orphanages in different forms. The idea is to support these individuals in areas they lack most. This is a true act of giving to those who need them most. This project seeks to provide sponsorship to orphans to take them through education and the learning of trade in order to become responsible individuals in the future.

Is not only the society we planned to impact but also the participating volunteer is positively impacted in so many ways. We work with local stakeholders such us health institutions, schools, care homes, local communities etc. This gives volunteers upper hand to easily get involved and start delivering.

We have running and developing huge societal projects for clinics, remotes communities, physically challenged homes, rural schools etc. as a charity, the surplus we make after administration, marketing, and providing for volunteers, we use to fund our charitable objectives such as donation of hospital equipment to rural clinics, purchase of books and computers for school libraries and ICT centres, donation of food stuff, clothes, shoes etc. to the physically challenged homes.
